The EQP-1A is modeled after the classic Program Equalizer from the 1960s, known for its unique ability to simultaneously boost and cut frequencies, creating a resonant shelf. The plug-in faithfully replicates the original hardware's overbuilt transformers and complex tube amplifiers.

It also includes a bandwidth control feature for shaping the high boost curve. When used in conjunction with the midrange MEQ-5 model, a full-range vintage EQ chain can be created.

To utilize the EQP-1A plug-in, you will need an AUv3-compatible host application such as GarageBand, Auria Pro, AUM, Cubasis, and others. The EQP-1A will be listed in the Audio Unit extensions category for effect plug-ins within the host application.
